Southeast Tech’s 焊接 program teaches you how to use a heat fusion process to join 金属零件. 焊接 is used in many industries, including automobile manufacturing and repair, shipbuilding, aerospace, as well as in construction of bridges and other 结构.
Southeast Tech’s 焊接 certificates put you on the fast-track to your field. 每一个 course is 4-12 weeks in duration and a certificate is granted for each class. 学生 can take one or all of STC's welding certificate courses.
- Introduction to 焊接 - Gas Metal Arc 焊接 (WLD 100)
- Shielded Metal Arc 焊接 (WLD 103)
- Intermediate 焊接 - Flux Core 焊接 (WLD 120)
每一个 course/certificate is "stackable," meaning credits count towards a 焊接文凭.
The type of welding depends on the 应用程序 and the conditions under which the 工作正在进行中. STC’s program focuses on ferrous and non-ferrous materials and welding in various positions and joint designs.

- Once the 应用程序 is submitted, an Admissions Representative will be in contact.

- Then, STC will complete the registration request and send you an official schedule.

On JumpStart day, after a safety presentation, welding students are required to take 安全测试. 学生 must achieve a score of 100% before continuing in the program 并且有三次尝试通过. The same test is given each time, and missed questions 被审查和讨论.
